We need to brainstorm ideas for the agenda items for our first KMS interactive professional learning community meeting.
We should think about the following as we plan the agenda together:
1. What is the purpose of our meeting?
-to collaborate together as professionals for the purpose of improving student achievement through the use of technology
2. What do we hope to accomplish?
-greater use of technology and integration of technology in the content classroom
-to achieve a greater understanding of the different programs to be used
3. Who will be the facilitator of the meeting?
-the technology administrator
4. Who else should we invite to join in our online discussion?
-principal
-asst. principal
-8th Grade Tech Apps Teacher
-7th Grade Science Teacher
-District Technology Director

-Create a shared vision of what technology use in the classroom should look like at KMS by first examining where we are right now in technology use and integration (look at our Campus STaR Chart at http://starchart.esc12.net/by clicking on "Campus Data Search" and type in "Kountze" then select our campus from the results) and then discussing where we want to be.

-Contact other comparable school districts to see how they are using and integrating technology in the classroom and share ideas.
